First Day FUN at the Isla Artist Fair – March 5th
Speaking of something for everyone…. How about arriving in time for the WMF Meet and Greet, and then heading to the Local Artist Fair held monthly in Isla’s traditional Mexican town square.
Just imagine doing this on March 5th:
- From 4-6 pm – WMF participants who have arrived on Isla can join us for a Meet & Greet at the beautiful beachfront Fenix Beach Lounge, steps from the MIA Reef Hotel. Be ready for a warm welcome, a cool drink and to pick up your WMF package.
- Now that you are in the groove, you can head to the ever-popular Isla Artist Fair, from 6-9 pm
- Still looking for more? Andale! You will be among many WMF adventure-seekers who will wander down restaurant row and choose the perfect place for a bite to eat and a night cap, perhaps.
- When you call it a night it will be among new found friends – you’ll want to get some rest before the incredible WMF Opening Ceremony the next morning.

Speaker Spotlight: The Wildly Popular Lisa Koch
Last year, attendees at WMF were bowled over by the powerful and hilarious comedian and musician, Lisa Koch. 100% – that’s right ALL OF THEM – gave Lisa’s session the highest rating you can get. It only made sense to bring her back for an encore.
Here’s a little insight into the woman who will have you smiling from ear to ear and laughing til it hurts:
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Ashland, OR. It’s a sweet little town in Southern Oregon, home of the Oregon Shakespearean Festival. A little liberal oasis in the midst of conservative-ville.
If you could choose any actress to play you in your life story who would it be?
Amy Poehler. However, my wife votes for Mariska Hargitay. I’m flattered, but confused.
What is one of the more difficult decisions you’ve ever had to make?
Getting clean and sober. The best and hardest thing I’ve ever done.
What are you most grateful for at this stage in your life?
I am grateful for my family, friends, and for a truly awesome life.
What are you looking forward to most at We Move Forward?
Meeting all the amazing women at the conference.
What is your favorite quote?
If you can’t make it better, you can laugh at it.
